inspired by a true story, this above average family film is adventure ever told story about human friendship with animal. the story focus on dog-sled guide (Jerry Shepard) at an Antartic research station who has to abandon his eight sled dogs by harsh antartic winter. the poor, trusting dogs are left in a blizzard on a chain to fend for themselves.
i give 4.5 out 5 for this fine story.
